Best season to go fish is Mid July-late October Its Fogo breeding season, and coincides with good fishing for Jau, Armatus, Red tails, bicuda, etc.

Sao Benedito is in a conservation basically...with the exception of fish for consumtion captured for the kitchen staff at the different locations, all fishing is strictly catch and release. So yes, it may be a good bit before see these hit the hobby.

Laz what about since the recent flooding? I am sure this has got to put a big hault if not noticable difference about the lodging and air travel. As well as collection location.

I haven't looked into the areas affected...Brazil is huge. However Ive been speaking to various lodges about doing a trip and no one has mentioned anything out of the ordinary.
