I remember about a year ago when I first got my "big" tank my dad brought home 50 feeder goldies without telling me. Although they obviously couldn't stay in my tank long term, they looked really good with black background and a poorly decorated tank.
Personally for fancy goldies, I prefer the cheap ones vs the more expensive ones with REALLY rounded bellies.

My mom currently has two goldfish and four koi in her 55 that I gave her. It is only a temporary tank and they are all pretty small. They go into their pond in the spring-fall time but she has been worried its been too cold haha.
