Since moving into my new house, I've had cost overruns that have prevented me from setting up my tanks, largely revolving around my desire to build them into the walls and not wanting to put tanks up on my ugly old stands.
That being said, all of the fish are (were) still in the same stock tank as before.
3d has killed them all, and eaten most of them. He's the only fish I have left. It's been a pretty major blow to me hobby wise.
3D himself is doing quite fine however. The steady diet of tank mates seem to have been quite good for him ?![]()

Sucks to hear man, what had you been keeping with him?
How big is your guy now?
Dang, sorry to hear... think one of these is on my someday list...
Saw one of these with a group of dorado...
Nice fish! Sorry about your tank mates...
Nice write up Rob! I've always enjoyed you sharing your personal experiences with your fish. So the Indo is hyper predatory or does it seem like aggression? How's his activity level? Can't wait to hear more about the Defiler in the future.
I've got a Yarrelli myself currently, I love him. He's fairly sedentary only moving for the most part when he senses me near the tank. He sits under a decor piece made to resemble pipes with his head exposed facing the front glass. Occasionally he retreats to a more secluded spot but when he senses me touching the tank he moves back to the front to be fed. He's my third Yarrelli and he's at least 14" currently. My first was dispatched by some Pygo Denticulata the second by my Trachycorystes who as they've aged have become hyper predatory.
