those botched holes are bad. that alone makes the tank an unacceptable product right there. if they screwed up, told you what they did, and offered you a 50% discount then I could understand.

but to pass that off as if nothing was wrong and have you pay full price?

make sure you get a perfect replacement and they should give you some sort of a discount.
 
After seeing the pics i am speechless. Thats just scary, that they would even try and sneak that past you. If i owned Tenecor i would Drug test every person that worked there including myself.:screwy:
 
wow that is rediculous, who is the quality control person at tenecor!?
 
OMG the hole patching is pathetic! I would be really upset. And like mentioned everyone that works there needs a surprise drug test.
Do not accept this from them my best advice is to get answers fast and be as persistent as possible this has always paid off for me in the long run.

Best of luck OP and I am sorry to see what you are having to go through with a company that charges what they do.

Pretty hard to back up Tenecor after seeing those pictures isn't it?

I can't believe anyone would try to sell that as a new tank for full price. That is pathetic!!!
 
Bump for any updates.
 
Tenecor owner started the discussions with an offer of 15% refunded. I turned him down and told him I want the tank re-built. We'll see what happens.
