Ok, I’ve noticed a lot of people putting flowerhorns in with smaller types of bichir. As most people know, the mentifact is that you should keep a flowerhorn alone in a 75g + tank. My question is: could I put a middle aged SD fader flowerhorn in with a 4-4.5 in. Gulper catfish? If they grow together, at max size, the gulper would not be able to eat the flowerhorn, but the fh might attack the Gulper, kill it, and slowly eat its body. So, is this a smart idea or am I insane and should just keep my 75g gulper-only. My rationale was the gulper stays in his wood/rock cave area until food comes out, and only swims in his cave vicinity at night. They wouldn’t have much interaction, but I have doubts, and my LFS has had this cute flowerhorn for a while. IDK, maybe I’m just nuts.:y220d:
