I personally do not, a LFS the town over from me had a 1.5 foot long, HDME for 2 years and was listed for 1200$. The eel never sold, and was in a tank smaller then 55G. For the majority of the time. Lets put it this way, the eel looked awesome and bright, but it was too expensive, and cramped in small quarters, ITS NOW DEAD. Big Eels need room to roam.

No offense man, but this is what I've heard from Moray Eel keepers. They do need a big tank, but a 55g is too small for most eels except a snowflake.
As long as the eel is comfortable and well feed and not pacing the tnak looking for food, then you're ok. Just what I've heard.

Who wants to ban who?

Man, all I got to say is that it's people like you AquataHolic that give sites a bad name. Instead of helping people out you just flat out flame them.
If I get banned from asking about keeping a fish and not taking the advice from a person who has never kept one, then maybe this isn't the site for me.

"What? So I should not just get into swf?"
No you should act responsible though and not make a commitment to care for a living creature and expect to do it part time.

"Should teenagers just not get into saltwater?"
If they are not mature enough to accept and understand that the level of care needed to keep some animals is extensive and requires a lot of time, then Yes.

"I'm sorry but that is one of the worst statements I heard."
I doubt it. Actually, it's the most honest and basic comments you will ever hear. Truth is always tough to hear. If you don't like the results of a question you asked why does that make it wrong? (No reply really needed as it's not meant to be answered)
