ok first change 100% water of your tank. Heater at 86oF = 30oC. a little nautral salts in. And let's him be hungry a day. Don't feed him.
if you still have question, ask me

100%.... NO big NO. 82' and let him be for a couple days. Even if the parameters of the water isn't perfect just let him calm down. After 3-4 days do a 30% water change. Wait 3-4 days and repeat. Match water temp as close as possible when adding new water.

You need to keep some of the bacteria in the tank and doing 100% change could make things way worse.

I'll do a 25% water change after tomorrow

I'll just wait till then

I just tried feeding him, he gets the shrimp but he shakes his head then spits it out

Any comments?

you can skip feeding him for a day or two. fish are cold blooded, they can go long periods without eating without any harm. 1 or 2 days is nothing. then he should be hungry.

i swear i've ever changed 25%, 50%, or 75%. i always changed 100% when i've had flowerhorn till now. My fishes were really healthy.
The reason that made your fish couldn't eat. You know why?
1. Dirty water (the water is clear but not sure that's clean) understand what i meant?
+
2. The temperature changed suddenly. It made your fish get shocked.
+
3. Look around your fish tank. Make sure that nothing sticks in the glass surface.(i don't know how to call this thing, they can move, really tiny, length 3mm, opalescent)
Maybe your fish got sick. Look on his body, if he had fungi, please let me know.
I'm sorry Lion
in your case, you should get 1/3 tank water out, heater at 32oC. Don't feed him in this time. Turn your air pumb stronger, strongest if your pumb could
If it won't work. Update your fish's pics. i will help you.

WoW... Great info MrBi... Next time keep it to yourself. :irked: Listen to the majority bud. This dude is :screwy:. Just leave everything as it is right now. You can do waterchanges but no more then 50% as stated many times in this thread. Keep the temp stable until the fish is acting normal again and then you can slowly adjust to 82-84.

I have thermomiter aginst the tank could that be?
I bought for him last week cause idk how but thermomiter broke in the tank
So I bought the ones that stick to the side

I say stop feeding too.

If the fish isn't eating, then its wasted and making water quality poor.

Fish don't react well to sudden changes.

Mr.Bi probably has very stable conditions where he lives right now, but he needs to remember not everyone does.

Here in SoCal, I almost killed my fish last night with 75% water change because of temp swing.

It's cold outside, but nice and warm in my tank, and I forgot and did too big a water change.

I should've either done it slower, or done only 40%
