Help ID my blue acara/green terror

Both fish are GT's. There is no question now. I will try upload pics soon, but they are definately not BA's.

How cool, I started with five and kept the domanant male and one of the females he paired with. If you keep a breeding pair he will never stop that shaking display you described, It's really fun to watch even if the female doesn't always think so. I say "kept" because my tank wasn't big enough for all of them.

BTW I was right...:woot:

What size of a tank did you have Blue Phantom? I plan on keeping a pair of them, i am just in the process of finding my male a female. So far out of the five, two are definate males. The large male and one who is now the sub dominant one ( the one who tries it on with the others when he isnt looking). A possible male, still a little small. And two possible females, the smaller of the two i am almost sure is a female, and she is much more colourful than the larger, so i hope the dominant male pairs with her.

The fish you believe to be blue acara are actually gts. When i introduced the male i showed earlier they both coloured up intensely and had a large growth spurt. So, all the fish i have posted a picture of in this thread are green terrors.

A 55 gal. Actually they're still in there. I'm about to move them to a 75 gal. soon. If you have a bigger tank your male might pair with two or more females. Mine paired with two but only fertilized eggs for one, I guess he wasn't as big a stud as he thought.
