Also I would recommend putting some decor in his tank. You don’t have to put the pot back in and typically you don’t want a lot of decor in an adult Flowerhorns tank, however I have found younger Flowerhorns like a few decorations. For instance this is trouble’s (my flowerhorn) tank.

You should be worried if he isn’t at least active by next Tuesday. Also you should be worried about the nitrogen cycle. Seriously read up on that and make sure you are ready. Doing a fish in cycle is not easy and it’s a lot of work. If you don’t read up on it and learn about how to get through it your flowerhorn could die. I would be willing to give a more in depth description if wanted.
I would expect to be doing 30 mins to an hour of work a day, some days might be less, some might be more. You have to be testing water, watching the fish, and you have to be ready to do a water change if the ammonia spikes which could happen at any time. Step one is to get a test kit (I will send a link to a good one you can get on amazon), unless you already have one. If you do not have the time to properly do this right now I would recommend asking for assistance or finding a new home for him until you do have time.
