Help please. Fish I got today looks to have a few problems.

I noticed when I put it in the tank that it's tail was pale and doesn't look healthy. The fish is acting normal and swimming but again I've only had it for 9 hours. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how I can help heal this fish. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like ammonia burn during transit.
keep the water clean, you can dose the tank with salt and up the temp 82F
or can use melafix/pimafix if you have them

I don't but I'll turn up the heat and add the salt. Just go with what the box says or how much salt?

Should indo a water change now? Will that stress the fish more? Thank you
 
It's great looking Elongatus. Would be in my tank if they can ship out to my country. :)

Heal it and hope to see more updates.
