HELP RESEALING 180 GALLON. PICTURES!!!!!!!

Somewhere someone mentioned buying a new plastic frame or brace.

Where do order it?

Sense Im redoing the whole thing, can i put eurobracing instead? or something less obtrusive than the plastic brace?

I've gotten the front tank disaembled and labeled all the parts. I'm soooooooo glad I asked you, instead of just pond armoring and sealing it. Check out the dry rot.
There was places were the old silicone hardened and it was super tight getting the blade in between the glass and the bottom. I'm afraid i chipped it slightly. Thats not good, is it?

Does silicone harden over time?
I am about to use a chemical to loosen the glass from the bottom. i'm using a filet knife and t20160805_073104.jpg 20160805_073111.jpg 20160805_073117 (1).jpg 20160805_073117.jpg 20160805_073158.jpg he glass is crunching.

Also I didn't do this. the edge was chipped under the silicone. it looks bad but evidently it held water. any suggestions? idea's?

I'm confused, did the OP get his tank finished and we switched to another member's tank?

I'm so sorry for the confusion! Do you mean the post asking for help for an antique refurb?
I posted my tank project twice on this group by accident. lolol
I am refirbishing an antigue double waterfall 180 gallons. I must have posted this on 4 or more fish groups looking for expert advise and hit you twice!
I'll make a note for that posts people to come over here.

Oh boy! I have more to show too. only one stubborn pane away for dissembling.
 
I'M BACK!



I'm still on it!
I took it apart and now im cleaning the panels.
I used Butane and alcahol, and Krud Kutter, and it was just not doing enough, so i got this LIFT OFF remover and WOOOOO HOOOO!!
just MELTS the silicone off.
So now im using that, Bar Keepers Helper and Mr Clean originals to get the last traces off.

Im going to need to soak the large panels in something that i can fill the bath tub up with.
Any suggestions?
