Hello,
I got a really nice SRD flowerhorn exactly a week ago. he was doing great until today. His head got a little smaller and he's colors are not that vibrant anymore. Also near were he poops the skin is weird, its like white and peeled off, you can see it in the pics below. Please help i dont want to loose him.

I’d dose some Epsom salt, 1 tbsp per 5g. Take a look at the link below.

Prolapsed anus/rectum in cichlids

Anyone ever dealt with this in a fish? I got a couple rescue fish a few weeks ago I am trying to fix up: a port acara that was severely emaciated and sunken in, with a bad case of HITH and also rainbow cichlid with no outward signs of problems that had been living in the same tank. I have them...

Ok well it looks like its hexamita. Does any one know any medications that can help. Any advice helps. I know Clear works but its not available now on Amazon.

If he is not eating you need to use CZ Clear as soon as possible.. Sometimes epsom salt injections can work but for severe infections CZ Clear is the only thing I have found that works. Just make sure you watch the CZ sponsored video on youtube to do the injection properly.
