How good escape artists are these guys?

I think thats an above average palmas palmas on black sand which like I said makes it pop a little more. Palmas palmas are my favorite I have 4 and another on the way. They all look different and pop differently on black sand. I would personally say you can never go wrong with a palmas palmas

Hows there personality? How do they handle shipping? I'm gonna have to get them shipped, to denmark. How much do these go for?

it depends on where you are getting them shipped from and the price depends on the area. I cannot say with confidence what they would fetch in your area. If you are ordering from someone in the U.S. then I would say depending on size a nice sized one could range from $50-$90. Polypterus in general handle shipping very well and can usually withstand a lot before they die in shipping. As far as personality mine are pretty much laid back and don't really care whats going on. However when it comes to feeding time all hell breaks loose and they dive in to get what they can get, but thats usually for most species lol. IME palmas palmas in general are laid back, but just like in humans sometimes you get those bad eggs that have to ruin it for everyone else.

Yeh it did, starting to cycle the tank in 2 weeks, or something like that. I'm just gonna move with the tank.
I saw 2 bichirs being sold in a fishstore, they where selling them as Polypterus Palmas, and they looked like a Palmas, dont know wich one tho, but it reminded me of this :)
Just have a question, wich lowerjaws are the most active? I've heard that Senegals are very active, but what else? How active are the Delhezies?

If you need an ID just post it up on this thread. IMO I haven't had a LJ thats been very active. I've heard endli are pretty active, but it depends on the individual. The delhezis I have owned have been relatively lazy and not done too much. Some of the most active bichirs in my tank are my senegalus, palmas polli, and CB teugelsi. Everything else tends to be kind of sluggish until feeding time.
