How good escape artists are these guys?

Yes i know, my filter for my 29g is cycled, and the tank is running right now, so i can just use that, and replace the substrate. But with the 140g, i need fine black sand, and that might be difficult to get, in Denmark. I'm gonna ask around and se if anyone can get Palmas palmas, delhezi, polli, or maybe retropinnis, and if anyone can get those shipped in, im probaly gonna get one of them. I really like the Palmas, so preferably a palmas, so Buttikoefri is also a possibility, i just really like the Palmas Palmas.
 
My Senegal jumped out of my 220 not too long ago on the back of my tank where my filters are. I also had a small one go down an over flow and die. This happened to a fire eel I had as well however I was able to save the Eel.

have tried to check to some sand blasting places near you? I know that's where most people go to get sand for cheap prices
 
How much would putting a cycled sponge flter in help?
Its the one running my 128, and if it could help cycling my 140g, ill just put it there.
 
128 liters not gallons, so that would be 29g.
Can you use fine gravel? The best i can find is 0,7 - 1,2 milimeter black gravel, and does anyone have an idea how meny liters of the fine gravel it will take to fill 160cmx55cm?
 
About 4 inches is sufficient. Anything more will look funny imo. It's so they can breath and not hurt themselves when they jump a little. They like to have fun
