I have never, ever, seen a healthy fish starve to death.

The thing is Miguel, i know if i buy SW it will pig out and eat about 20 to 30 of them in one hit. It's eaten MP before and it used to make up part of its diet, it's getting the opportunity to eat MP nearly every day because i feed it to my Dats, but it won't eat it.

I used to feed it crickets, MP and SW on a cycle of one week per food type, then it just stopped eating everything other than SW.
The fish is not stupid, it knows if it waits it will get what it wants and it knows what it wants otherwise it would never have singled the SW out in the food cycle.

someone else posted 8 weeks, where do i place the cut off line. I do have a problem with the eat or die method because i nearly killed a NTT doing that, but when it gets this far in i'm not really sure what to do, or signs of things going wrong.

Nobody wants you to stress yourself and to let that stupid aro die, either.

I would give it a couple of days, one week, more. Then would give in a feed it what it eats, just to put something inside her.

Then let her starve a bit again..

If you do not have the nerves for it ( which is fully understandable ) give her what she eats and end of story, really.

WOW This must be extremely frustrating, I hate fish that are not good eaters.

I have a friend in the same situation with his vip red and it starved for 2 months and still would not accept anything but super worms. Finally my friend gave up and fed it and of course it had no problem accepting the worms.

I recently aquired a new juvie 4in and it is yet to eat anything, hopefully its just settling in and will take the sticks soon, thats all I'm feeding right now

Jus dont even try to feed it, give it another few days before you out food into the tank, i know exactly your feelings now! You probably hate it and swearing at it!
