Dang 5 weeks, how about feeding it what you used to feet it, but have sticks shoved inside of them?
Tried that. The first few it doesn't notice but then after the first 1 or 2 stuffed worms it spits them out.

I would keep starving, I have starved a fish for over 15weeks before. They will give in. Fish can go a very long time without food. Aros in the wild fast for a long time when they go into breeding.

^ i'm going to keep on. If it's really hungry it'll take the shrimp.

7 weeks.....

My fish is really hungry. When i'm throwing the MS in for the dats, it swims and open and closes it's mouth the same way it does a feeding time. If i throw sticks in it goes over to have a look, but doesn't take them.
When will it break????

That's a long time......... what's wrong with feeding it SW if i might ask? That's what i'm feeding mine now.

It only eats SW, which in the long run isn't good.

he'll take on soon just give it time

sorry to be a bit off subject CC......you mention to almost kill your NTT.... how long did that take.. i'm 2 weeks into starving my NTT... two only takes feeder and one is taking MS

^ it was only 4 inches. It started to get really ill after about 2 week. It was only eating ghost shrimp as well, which i don't think are very nutritious. It started with white patches that spread real quickly, and was really lethargic. I put it in a 7 gal tank and treated the water. I also gave it ghost shrimp and because it didn't have to swim for them it ate. Thant was my first attempt at pellets.
My NTTs went for MS after about 2 days. Once one ate they all did. I'm trying to get them on sinking pellets now.
