Yeah serious I have never seen one bigger than my hand. They have a few 2-3 inches in a 30 gallon but nothing big. That is why I want one. Wanna have a monster.

im putting a juvinile green terror and juvinile oscar in a 55g untill they out grow it, even then i was only gonna upgrade to like a 75g....

These were my old oscar's. Biggest one was 12'' and the smallest was 9''. All lived in a 125gal. A breeding pair was formed. 6 oscar's 4 pleco's. Heavy filtration.

All I have to say is just because something can be done does not mean it should be done. A dog could be kept in a small cage all its life (puppymill) and live but its not right. SO I say Good day.

putting 5 scars in a 55g is not even close to putting 1 oscar and gt in a 75g.........
Then your eyes are shut. Most healthy Oscars hit 12" within their first year of life, if not by the second.
You could put it in a 55g with loads of filtration. Would I do it? No. Could you have a healthy fish? Yes.
Personally, I think they need more room, but you could get by with one in a 55g.. And comparing oscar/55g to human/closet is ridiculous.. Totally different types of animals.
