I will definitly want to see your pictures and i will definitly be looking for you.. will it be in photo lounge?

about 30 years keeping. Don't have a "specialty" but I keep the usual large predatory fish in 720 gal and I really like keeping small west / central african riverine fish in a 200 gal planted tank. And love anything considered "oddball"... big or small.

If I had to pick one thing that maybe I have a little more personal experience with than most other folks, it would be mormyrids, just because I find them fascinating and really enjoy keeping them. But surely not an expert.

It's been about 28+ years now toying with fishes. Mainly aros, discus & ranchus. Thinking back all those years makes me feel old. :D

That is great that you have a 700 gal tank..i wish i could get rid of alot of my smaller tanks and trade it in for another huge tank.. i find it incredible to see all the mixture of fish with loads of room .. someday.. if you have posted a picture of your tank let me know where they are so i can take a look.. love to see them. I have to google this fish you mentioned "mormyrids"...i learned of another fish today too..the albino axolotl {mexican walking fish} it is so much fun to keep on discovering.. thanks

I have been keeping fish for 4 years, I have too many tanks (up to 300 gal), and some of my prized fish are: Tig, black aro, chinese perch, monster jag, oh hell...who am I fooling. The list goes on and on. I love all of my fish.

I cant wait to see where I'm at in another 4 years.
I still have the first fish I ever purchased by the way:)

I can already see where you will be..up to your eyeballs in great exotic monster fish and loving every minute of it.. look at all you have done in these 4 years.. and that is nice that you still have the one fish you started with..and if you keep going to all those LFS you may even own one of them some day.. that was some tour!!

IMO, its a lot more fun to keep a lot of small / medium tanks. That would be my preference. But because of space, family, etc, its just not reasonable for me. SO the alternative was 2 large tanks... but that is ALL I HAVE. Its cool, but not a day goes by that I don't wish I had a bunch of small tanks. the grass is always greener I suppose
