All of those stories are at least 10-20 years old. And most of those people had to work through the field to some extent to gain the knowledge to build on. It's darn near impossible to just quit whatever you are doing and create a multi-million dollar corporation from scratch, heck even one that would get you by in life...especially without any form of training.

U cld always start a LFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also those people got really luck in addition to being extremely smart and shrewd. I personally aim for these goals but I like having a back up plan. Thus is my entrepreneurial skills just happen to suck I'm not stuck at wall-mart.

I'm so sick and tired of college. I feel like I have to go to get a good paying job. I feel like as a society eveyone is forcing me to go. Parents teachers, friends, co-workers, everyone asks where did you go to college what are you doing in your life right now. I'm sick of it! I'm happy where I work full-time. Is it the job I had in mind, no not at all, but I'm happy. Will I make as much money if I went to college...probably not, but I'm happy.

I'm tired of school, I already went for 12 freakin years...12 and I'm 20. I just feel like going for 4+ more years is not for me. And no it's not the fact that I work full-time and can't do my HW. I can and do do my HW, whether it's the last minute or not IDC it gets done. I feel stressed when I come home and have stupid HW to do. I'd rather use my time for something I want to do. I don't mean partying or anything like that just something I want to do that could even help my career path. IDK, I'm in community college now and will probably go for another year then a 4 year school for 2 years to wrap it up. Just thinking of this makes me sick to my stomach. I wanted to go to college, I did and now IDK anymore. I really think some people just aren't meant for it. I'm not happy. I gotta go to work now, and make something of myself at least it feels like something good happens while I'm there instead of this so called college.

Bro i went for 4 yrs and had a nice GPA I am currently looking for a better paying job but it seems that almost everyone i know has a college degree nowadays

I can relate. School sucks. I hate it. And I hate being LEGALLY math disabled in a yer of school that revolves around math. It's like trying to swim upwards while in the middle of a downwards-spiraling whirlpool :irked:

Keep on truckin bro. You'll be glad when you can settle down and have the cash to pursue the fishkeeping hobby on a greater scale ;)

ABSOLUTELY! Very good post!

I'd suggest you lighten up on your college workload for a semester or so, but don't quit altogether. Most people never make it back once they quit.

The hard truth is you need to get educated, whether in a specific field or just general business. Even if you want to run your own business eventually you'll need a solid business background. Sure, you could muddle through it if you're particularly bright, but that'd just delay your eventual success.:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

There's no reason to overload yourself, but keep working at it! It'll be over before you know it!

Sorry but I have to totally disagree with you there. The route I took to get where I am involved no education except the school of life and hard knocks.

I have to say find your passion, find your dream and then go for it.

I quote Goethe "Whatever you can do or dream you can.... BEGIN IT boldness has Genius, and Power Magic in it!"

By no means am I saying school is not good, rather I am saying it not the absolute and most certainly success can be obtained without formal education.

I like to say if there is no chance of failure if you step out into the business world YOU ARE NOT TAKING ENOUGH RISKS.

I have found that many people who have a school education for a B.A. actually have a tragic flaw. They complicate the simple so that they then can take credit for simplifying the complicated. :grinno:
