Did you use Hardi panels and then Drylok? Yeah i have already asked The Fish Guy too many questionsjem454;1056140; said:Drylok is far cheaper, easier to apply. I have seen numerous people using sanitred and have had a hard time getting a seal around the glass. My 600 is dryloked, and leak free so far since January. You can pm the fish guy if you want, I know he has used both and has said if he was to build another he would use drylok again. I dont think I would use directly on wood, although it does work.

So do you guys know of anyone who has used Drylok on plywood successfully?
I really like the idea about having the trickle filter/sump above the tank. I just want a large sump! I dont know what it is with a large sump on a large tank. I figured i'm only going to build one so why not do it up big? Eventually as the fish get bigger i will have to get a bigger return pump, probably like a Mag 9.5-12, then i will probably use the quiet one to pump water up onto a second filtering system. Either that or still use it in the sump.
