If you like a fish get it keep it enjoy it if it get to big you can sell it later. Its not loke your buying a arapima or piraiba catfish that will outgrow it on a few months.

oh man. Just trying to imagine how much food a 400 pound fish eats on a daily basis.

Lol too much. I don't know what you would want to do with a fish that large, threw tank would be enormous.

How would you even keep that in a tank? The tank would need to be huge for an allagator gar. Probably the size of my house.

That's like fish stores selling Oscars to people that have a 10 gal tank. Or any other larger fish.
