You could do a ckf but make sure that the fish you already are at least 3 inches

umm he need a huge tank for it when it gets to big for his 55 gallon...

Thats what I thought! I've seen CKF's before and there's no way they could fit in a 55! Lol

I think 70 gallons is good for 1 Oscar.

jd's inc blue, green terrors, parrots and severem can get to 12inches... how wides the tank 12inch. if you plan on upgrading the tank tho they all take years to hit full size. salvini 9inch max, convict 6inch, maybe but are mean. keyhole 6inch, rainbow 5inch, firemouths 8inch, tbars 5inch, are a better choice imo. goodluck.
