Thanks so much! I really wanted to make the tank look as pretty as they are. Its looking like one of the orinos and the greener xingu are pairing up too so maybe down the road Ill have some strange looking little babies. But I really appreciate the kind words, I spent close to two months purchasing and planning everything for this tank and to see it all finally done is a really nice feeling
Ya the marble achara grows as fast as a tsn or rtc. Not nearly as aggressive toward other fish, but they are still capable of eating other fish. Mine gulped a 4-5” angel and would eat an entire slice of cucumber. They love veggie pellets. Just hammer them so the pleco had to eat cichlid pellets.Granted, most large catfish grow very fast to a nice size length, I couldnt believe how fast my guy grew, couple inches per month. My achara barely eats in front of me is whats crazy, he just cleans up from what the bass and barramundi miss after I turn the lights off. He hasnt gotten big enough to be ballsy and come out, and right now hes gotten very good at blending in with the roots and black background.. I spent an hour trying to find him yesterday and realized he looks like he is the aquascape. Its just a shame their aggro towards others of their family or Id get a sailfin to go with it.
