It is against US law to remove live rock from caribbean waters. they do that to also protect the coral there. don't take it and you will be fine. take it and you may be looking at a minimum of a fine, or for large amounts you will go to jail. the law is very clear on this, especially in FL.

Im a native floridian and what he is talking bout is dead bleached by the sun coral..... perfectly legal if its dead..... you can put this in ur aquarium, i have.......... put it in very hot water and scrub, do not use any bleach or detergents because it can absorb the chemicals and kill ur tank ....... it will turn into live rock over time especially if you have it touching other live rock..... i think that is it, dont listen to dumbass tourists! lol
