i think a big tank with tons of community fish must be awesome...almost like you are looking into the waters below... and catching a glimpse of what it really is like..schools of fish going one way and schools of fish going another way... colors like crazy ...got to be very very nice..and big and peaceful..

I'd make a 300 into a community. If I had that kind of money to do that in addition to the other tanks I want to do. Different strokes for different folks.
This may be off topic and also absolutely non of my business, but I just have to ask... Is there any specific reason you despise Oscars and Arowanas? I mean there are a lot of fish I just don't care for or is not my style, but despise them?
Its not a waste if he enjoys it. Im guessing the next time he has something really nice that he got with his hard earned money that he really likes, he wont be so quick to share it with you. Despite your irrational anger I think you shouldve just been polite.
