Wouldn’t be surprised if one day that motaguense decides enough is enough and goes crazy. I’ve seen cichlids do that before, especially parachromis. It’s like they hide and plot until the time is right to make their move. Imho I’d keep a close eye on him. The Midas may keep him in check but that may change as they mature.Just an update video

The mota has taken a liking to ripping off a scale or 2 here or there on the jardini... gonna keep an eye on it and see if it gets too out of hand and rehome the jardini sooner than planned.

Midas is still the boss and puts the mota in place when need be.
I can def start seeing more of an aggressive tank than I did a few weeks ago. Will keep updating week by week
