Could I add a delhezi bichir in my 75 with my roughly 6 inch senegal? If so how big would I have to get a dehlezi for him to be safe?

Current stock:
• 1 6 inch senegal bichir
• 1 4-5 inch zig zag eel
• 2 synodontis
• 1 banjo
• african butterflyfish
• 4 red ruby barbs ( prob getting rid of)
• 1 small clown loach ( prob getting rid of I had 4, 3 died from ich)

Do you mind providing pictures of the "zig zag eel". I'm not expert, but I know this term is sometimes thrown around for different species of eels. What species of Synodontis do you have? If you aren't sure, could you provide pictures? Do you plan to upgrade within the next few months/year? The tank isn't fully stocked at the moment, but once those fish are full grown it will be.

I can't get pics cuz my phone camera is ass, I'm not sure what synodontis I have but 1 was sold to me as a hybrid, he's all yellow gold ish and was told he'd reach 7 inches. The other has like spots all over him kinda like a cheetah or something, I was told he'd reach 10 inches but it would take forever, the eel... idk tbh all I know is that a zig zag was small enough for my tank so I searched fir 2 months to get him

Which of these eels does it look closest to? (images from google)

Half banded spiny I would say
It is a Half banded spiny. I had one about 9 months ago, but lost it to ich. It was a great fish; always wandering the tank, searching for food, observing the fish. What I loved even more was how calm the eel was. I could walk up to the tank and it wouldn't dart away, just sit there. Eventually the eel started greeting me at the front of the tank, just like my other fish.

That eel you have there is a keeper. In my opinion one of the best eels in the hobby.

Back on topic... You should probably wait to get the Delhezi until you get a larger tank. From what I've read both the Senegalus and Delhezi get over a foot long, with the Senegalus reaching 18"+.

Okay cool, yea my eel is exactly like that, I was a bit worried because when I added clown loaches they had ich and he started loosing color thankfully his color is coming back, still have 1 clown with ich but all other fish are clean and healthy, tbh I might get rid of the clown I don't think he'll make it Iv had tank at 84 and full treatment of salt for around 10 days now and he's still covered. I'm not really feeling the red ruby barbs as a mid-top water schooler so would u recommend anything else? Can't be nippy due to my african butterflyfish

Never heard of a Senegal Bichir exceeding 1ft., get the clown loach out and if the barbs are small take them out also. Make sure Del is about the same size as the Sen before putting it in even if you have to grow it out separately .
