Well so long as they all live, I will have three extra sagittae at some point. Make room now LOL

The Texans as well for those who want them.

Is the Flowerhorn a male? Breed it with a extra Texan female and see how the fry turn out.

I am not starting the new journals till I can split them up. Just started a treatment need six more days, then I can split them. So now the Devil's tank is sitting empty, so I got 9 Pineapple swordtails to keep the BB alive till the Devil's can join them. The swords can be thier dithers till they grow up some.

Been watching these new guys like a hawk since they got here. I think I can tell the sexes apart for the Devil's. It looks like I have 4 male's 1 female.
This is the one I suspect as female. 20180907_194431.jpg

It's unpaired fins are rounded, has a different shaped forehead area. Also the males seem to be thicker along the dorsal fin area.20180907_194637.jpg 20180907_194424.jpg

So if it is 4 males, I think I will wait for them to finish pealing, pick out 2 favorite male's. Rehome the other two, and hope the sole female likes one of the two.

The Texans are a different story, no clue on these guys yet, they all look the same. Maybe a bit young yet.

It's not only looks I am going off of. The 4 male's have split the tank into 4 parts, and each one has claimed a section.
The female one hides in a depression in the sand next to some rocks when not foraging for food or getting chased by one of the males.
