My gars feeder guppys have babies,lol!

I just tried mixing some mealworms and some aro sticks in with the bloodworm and guess what!?



He ate a bit of bloodworm but nothing else and has not even eaten all the bloodworm like he normally does!and this is the first time for about 3 weeks ive given him some!

If i could swear on here, this would be a lot longer post.lol!

try shrimp. stop feeding bloodworms. he will eventually come round. but i think it's a little late for much more growth
 
Hi xander.il try and get some shrimp,but i dont hold out much hope as ive tried starving him off it before,and as far as i know he didnt eat anything for over 4 + weeks!

Hi xander,do you not think he will grow at all,or just a bit. I wouldnt expect him to get to full size but perhaps over ten inch if he starts eating something else,not that i think he will,or maybe just get fatter?

When i feed him its not like he doesnt want the food its more like he doesnt know its food,il put prawn or pellets or whatever in and if its floating or on the bottom next to him he doesnt even act like he knows its there,he doesnt sniff at it or get excited like he knows there is food in there but he doesnt like it,he just sits there,even if it lands on his snout,or is right next to his mouth?

thats because he doenst even know its food in the first place...
try freeze dried krill
 
I have already tried that,if you read one of the above posts i have put down what i have tried,which is alot!so how do i get him to recognise it as food.ive tried waving it near his mouth but he just swims off ive tried soaking everything in blood worm but he just dont go for it and ive been trying this day in day out since i got him,its not just a recent thing,im going to get some of that garlic stuff that you soak the food in and try that.

try putting powerhead to make the FD krill seem alive.
it has always worked for me.
if it fails,try starving a bit until he eats guppies once you drop them in.
then he should be weaned off easier.
