My New Electric Blue Texas Cichlid!!!

Say hello to Turquiose!! She is my new Electric Blue Texas Cichlid!!! She is beautiful and a little stinker! My other fish were following her all day yesterday it was so cute! She ate right away, and seems to be fitting in well with a sub group of my fish in the tank! So happy!! Happy Birthday too me!!

She looks like a he to me. Typically, carpintis females will have a black blotch in their dorsal fin. Pretty fish!

I second this, most likely a male. Very nice fish. My guiss is it's a normal H carpintis cichlid, not line bred. This is just what carpintis look like. People like to throw the words "electric blue" around I have always liked carpintis
