It’s about 3” max so it’s in a 10 gallon tank while I get him on food and pellet trained. It’s just a small temporary tank until he’s big enough to go into the main tank with my ornate.
I picked up this endlicheri on Tuesday and it’s now Thursday, still no bites on food. I tried crushed massivore yesterday and finely chopped market shrimp today.
Don’t mind the white gravel, I know it’s not the best for his color. Like I said, just a temporary grow out tank.

Wow, that's tiny. I'm suprised he even made it to the place you bought him from with him being as small as he is.

So no poop? I generally run a grow out tank with no substrate so that I can see any poop or uneaten food. Sometimes fish that small are eating, but you can't notice it compared to the amount of food given because they get full on much tinier amount than expected.

That’s actually a good idea. I’ve been staring at him since I put the shrimp in and he hasn’t moved. There’s a small piece right in front of his face but he’s not showing any interest.

His head looks out of proportion to his body.

Canada eh
Woohoo so cute. I got one a while back on a sweet sale for about$7. But I didn’t have another tank to grow it out in. Also picked up an ornate for about$15. The ornate was a bit bigger, but ate right away, the end like went on a hunger strike and eventually became so small he became lunch for the ornate- who I still have.

Have you tried either blood worms or brine shrimp? If you have those on hand I find they can usually pick up a good smell of that it might entice it to chow.
