Awesome pics! Remember, I can get help get you some stuff, as I talked to the El Paso Zoo education director about your project, and he'll see what he can do. If you need any help, talk to me, and I'll talk to him as I'll meet with him Monday.
Not that I claim to be a guru when it comes to tank construction.....
But if you can't drain a tank using a 4" drain line because it will cause the viewing panel to shift if it drains that quickly...why in the world would you put in a 4" drain line on the bottom to drain it????? Especially one that flows into an area drained by a 2" line????
Anyway, I dumped the pools for the last time yesterday. Today is the major scrub down to clean out any remaining debris from construction. Tomorrow is fill day. 1/3 city water, 2/3 RO water. This will probably take until Friday to have them full.

Cool. Looks like its coming right along. I can't wait to see it. I'm sure I'll be up there sometime in this spring/summer.

Yeah, it is. This new exhibit joins the zoo and the conservatory for the first time. Historically they have been seperate, just located on the same grounds. It's been very interesting to see how the two staffs come together on a single exhibit.
I hope to have the arapaima up in their display pool soon. Right now they are eating about 60 fish each daily. They are really pushing the limit of the 750 gallon holding they are in.
I believed you !!! LOL, you just didn't get around to sending the other pictures, so I had no visuall, lol. So have you gotten that other guy fired yet?? I think we both know you should at least be above him. Don't get him fired, lol, that's mean, just get everyone else together, since you said they all agree, and go to the big boss man for a promo. ooorrr, MBA, lol. (sorry all, inside joke)
