New 1100 Gallon Indoor Pond!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I didn't have normal lights running on the pond, it was in a well lit room on the backside of my house with all windows on that wall. The only time real lights were on was when I was in the room and then the normal overhead lights were on.

Updates: Well the new pond project needed to start sooner rather than later and I bought the materials for a 480 gallon pond this weekend and began construction on it. It's 2x4 framed, plywood reinforced with a pond liner and the dimensions are 8x4x2. I didn't get it all done but have most of the framing built. I just need to take it up in pieces to the room its going in and then attach the pieces together along with the metal bracing for the corners and drop in the liner. Luckily I won't really have to cycle this pond becaue I'm planning on pulling about 150 gallons from various tanks at my house to start it then will graduallt repeat that over a week or so to get the remaining water + new water. Stocklist as soon as it's complete are Filamentosum, Goslinea Platynema, and my RTCxTSN and maybe the Jau I haven't decided yet. Other large shovelnose will be going out there when they outgrow their current tanks. ~Trent
