Did you rotate the outermost two ball valves in that bank of three a bit because they were too close together to operate? I noticed that in one of the earlier pics, and then later saw it corrected. Nice catch!

Been there...done that...didn't find it until much later, when it was much more of a PITA to fix...:)

I did indeed. I did a quick leak test on the top section of the overflow the other day and noticed I couldn't have all 3 of them turned off at the same time. Luckily when I put in the new ones I used true unions so the fix took all of a few minutes to rotate them. If I still had the old hardware store specials in there I would have been screwed. If anyone is doing something similar to this in the future I can't recommenced those true union ball valves enough.

Doesn't look like I am going to get to glue the return up today, its been raining all day, so I can't open the window to glue. Looking like I'm going to end up getting a second p-trap and 1.5" union and just running them before the 1" drains on either side of the T going outside. My stand needs to be closer to the wall to sit level than I can get the p-trap. On another note I ended up canceling the ADJ power switch and just getting a standard power switch with mounting ears, I think for my setup it should work better than the ADJ, even though I will miss those power buttons.

Couple of quick updates. Got my pvc supports added for the pump and added puck lighting in the sump area. I have these same lights under my cabinets in my kitchen and really like them so decided to just get some more. They come with a remote and allow me to adjust brightness even do modes etc, but I have to admit they are a pain in the ass to get the wires up.. ? Wish I would have installed them before I had all the pvc and sumps installed. Also bought an ADJ power strip with switches for each outlet so look forward to getting that in and getting it setup for power. Hope to have my drainage pvc glued up tomorrow and will follow up with pictures if I get it done.

Are those 10" filters for water changes? I hadn't thought of doing that and may have to implement it on my system........

More for a drip, my city water is ice cold, I suppose I could with a small water change, but wouldn't want to go that route if I was doing 20% or more.

Well, I was doing the automatic water changes but all my filters and such were outside which I think messed with cloudiness of the water. Not to mention dealing with freezing etc.

I think I'm going to relocate it to the stand and then I can just hook a hose up to the filters and have it feed the tank then overflow out. Make the water change process a bit easier.

Got all my wiring and attaching of equipment to the sides done this weekend along with getting the floor a bit more level. Last step is to glue and get the drain line out of the house. I've been procrastinating this, but hopefully if I get some time this coming weekend and its not raining I can get it all done and actually get some water in this thing.
