I have had a hard time finding info on Sunsun canister filters. So here is a thread on my two new Sunsun 304B filters. I ordered them off of Amazon for $96. Below are some pics of the packaging and one with my son next to it for size reference (he's 39" tall).

I will install these tomorrow. I starting posting on its operation then.

They are rated at 525 gph. Mounted to the canister lid is a 9w uv light. This is a 5 stage filtration system. The box reads Top Aquatic as in a brand name. The pictures are fairly easy to follow. The syntax of the instructions are somewhat misspelled or with bad grammar ( not judging, just telling you what to expect). The assembly of the unit is relatively easy. The spray bar is somewhat large, though it is comprised of smaller parts stop you can shorten it.

Picked up 2 of these in the past 6 weeks for my new 180gal. Very quiet. Holds a lot of media. So far so good so I'm very satisfied with it. With each under $90 shipped, I was willing to take a gamble. I wished they made the same size model sans uv.

Couple of quick tips:
Hose are super thick so I used a pvc pipe cutter (Harbour Freight $5) for nice clean cuts and soak the hose in very hot water to soften up to make insertions effortless.

There's a really good Youtube vid made by user AquaticAtheist, or just search using "Aquatop canister filter"

And eBay is the way to go I get them for 80 free shipping. And the you can Make the spray bar shorter

Apparently these filters are identical to current Aquatop brand canister filters. Something about a patent expiring. Needless to say I also purchased one and love it for the cost, I sell them easily at my store.

I installed the first assembled filter on my 135 gallon tank. The tank is 6' x 1.5'. I hung the inlet on the left side of the tank. I took a couple of the tube links out because my 135 is standard depth. Likewise, I took some of the spray bar for length too. The outlet hangs across the back at the far right side with the spray bar attached to the right side glass. The canister sits under the tank in the center. I did have problems priming the canister, but I believe it was due to excess hose behind the tank and stand.

I assembled the second filter pretty fast. I bought it for my 4' x 2' 120 gallon tall. The canister would not fit under my stand; the openings were too narrow. So I decided to put the filter on the right of the tank. This was imperative due to hose length. I put the intake on the right as deep as all provided links. Because of the hose length, I hung the outlet just left of the center and applied the spray bar to the back glass extending to the left. I pressed the primer and in no time the filter was running.

This filter has an internal 9w uv light. The lights are controlled by a power switch on top if the canister lid. The unit has a spring loaded priming button. Also, there is a ball globe shutoff to remove the hoses from the canister without emptying your tank on the floor.

I have not checked the uv lights for proper function yet. I will check those at the first cleaning. I am currently setting the media in the filter. On the 135, I am running the new filter with two emperor 400s and a 525gph powerhead. On the 125, I am running the new filter with an Aqueon 75 gallon tank filter and a 325gph powerhead.

Also, even though they have only been running two days, I am thus far just as pleased with these filters as my Eheim Pro II. They are also just as quiet as the Eheim.

They are comparable. After 3 years of running, mine still works fine.

A few things to note:

1. They lack a good handle; making them hard to move.
2. The latches are of poor quality, be careful with them.
