Binge Binge that gold dust looks amazing on the black. And I agree, I like my sen on the darker sand. When I got her she was very light colored, but has started to show a lot of detail and spots along her finlets since being put on the brownish sand I have

Her after a couple weeks on my darker sand. Her head especially is looking awesome, looked nothing like that when I got her

I like it. what type of sand is it.
Estes permacolor quartz, the Super trowelrite stuff. I had to find a distributor in my area. Note to anyone trying to get it, make sure you check out their samples because most sizes are so fine they'll float on water. The company I bought from was cool about it, they let me fill a Styrofoam cup with water and try out all the samples for color ans buoyancy haha

For the record it runs about $28 bucks per 50lbs bag, so definitely reasonable when weighed against lfs prices

Couldnt find any distributers for estes around me so I just went with black diamond blasting sand. I am happy with it. so far and it holds my plants realy well.
