Stupid noob question -- it looks like your tank heater was behind the 3D background in some pics? How does that work?
No questions are stupid

Welcome and Nice tank!
I can see you have a great teacher and therefore with such progress I suggest you create a better layout with much more hiding places etc.. You can use PVC tubes and hide them with rocks etc.. Also try to put the wood entering the tank (I mean the other way round). Still looking nice!

looks like you have pothos or a similar terrestrial plant in there. If so, it will not grow and will eventually die unless exposed to the air outside of the aquarium, pothos leaves cannot properly draw from the water column... yes they will survive for awhile but they won't live.
Thanks for the response!
"Rivermud" if he is correct it is vital to take them out of the aquarium, some terrestrial plants can be poisonous for fish.
The female hait had a rough first 8 hours in the tank. Keeping a close eye. I have a good gut-feeling that she'll be fine, but I have OCD paranoia. ;-)
I almost went home for lunch (an hour drive) to check on them - but JK47 laughed at me. Only because he knows what it was like for him in the beginning. ;-)
Those are some serious anubias.. I'd like to have a bunch myself.. never grew anything submerged well other than some pygmy chains and stem plants. Though I was also going very very low tech.
