Dang, I may soon be living in an hoa neighborhood for the first time....

I want a desert theme front yard landscape so I hope it won't be an issue

I really like them and I have a few different types around my yards.This is not the best climate zone for them but they do well here as quite a few people grow them on their property.
Here are a few of mine.
my gavorites are the ones that grow like a tree.This one is nearly five feet tall.

When I was a kid and we lived in a more forgiving climate zone, we had one that was so tall an adult could stand under it and had a massive crown of leaves. Never seen one as good yet here.

Speaking of, did you replace your trachycarpus yet? Mine got fried this winter but no spear pull so should pull through.

It depends on the design.I'd get one but it would probably only be either an arowana or an armatus....as far as non aquarium fish,I have wanted the image of the Jaws movie poster done on the side of my calf for years.

Why not combine the 2? Get the jaws poster but instead of a great white there's a massive Arnie on there

As one of my 2 big hobbies I do think I would like to have fish on my skin somewhere, I do have a tat planned for the other hobby. But I don't think I could decide on the species, I have too many "favourites".

That sounds interesting but I have always loved that poster image and wouldn't want to tamper with it lol.Jaws is the earliest movie that I can recall actually seeing in the theater.
