I don't really care who people love,
Hello; That is fair enough. For the most part it makes no difference to me who someone else cares about either normal or otherwise.

one of my friends is 'different' herself. So what:confused:
Hello; Thanks for the example. The "so what" is that it is not normal behavior, hence a deviation from the norm. Ideally at best a behavior to be tolerated but not endorsed. For sure not made to be seen as generally acceptable, which is the apparent agenda.
You are young with normal feelings for the opposite gender, based on the girl I and others tease you about. Yet that you say "so what" is an indicator the strategy is working. Get enough people saying "so what" then it becomes possible to rewrite the thousands of years old definition of social norms such a marriage and who uses which shower in a public school.

When I was a child one of may close friends had a g## uncle. My friend told us about it so we were forewarned. We did not bother him, but we also understood he was not normal. Now I figure many children will fail to understand how such is abnormal.

I believe it's just a natural thing that sometimes people deviate from the norm, even with attractions

I think it's just a case of let those people be, it doesn't bother me if a person treads in both streams. I don't want it shoved down my throat and I'll leave them alone about it. I don't endorse it at all but if that's what you are into so be it

Social norms change all the time, and I think people were against same sex relationships from the start simply because of the taboo. In some cultures it was completely acceptable as well. tbh is it that much of an issue to let people marry who they love? it's not the norm sure, but I find it unfair that people can't because it's seen as an abomination or whatever. They say people are afraid of what they don't understand

As for the shower thing, go with the xx or xy thing. Just because you want to be the other side doesn't really entitle you to go and make a whole group of people uncomfortable for your ideal, just get changed in a toilet cubicle goodness.

That's just a 15 year olds view on this whole thing...

Am I anti lgbt whatever if I dont mind others being that way, but dont want my children to be that way? I assume thats just a natural parent thing.
Probably because it is a bit of a situation out of the norm, which I think is the big issue with it all... nothing wrong with your view imo :)

Hello; Fair statement. My guess is that there have been such deviants for a long time. The issue recently ( say the last few decades) is about the push to make such deviations mainstream.
I am trying to think of some other deviations that are known about . For some reason right now hemophilia comes to mind. Before anyone else point it out let me say this is a poor example. Hemophilia is a "natural" thing in away but not desirable. There are serious efforts to treat hemophilia. I will try to think of something else as an example.

That there are differences in a population is not in question. Some folks like the color blue better than red. Some like broccoli and some do not. Some are tall and some short and so on. To my way of thinking the alphabet lifestyles are not to be lumped in with these sorts of human variations. The rub, to me, is that such lifestyles have already been "normalized" to the existing extent.
