Ordering New 440/480 any advice?

Who did the stand?More room in the tank. They can be on the back or on the sides of the tank. Doviiman had external overflow boxes built on the sides of his 822 gallon tank (he enclosed his tank).

3.5" tubular steel
Nearly a five hour drive (round trip) last week to exchange the 2.5" tubular steel we purchased in November for 3.5", which the tank salesman insists we need for our stand. Monster stand for a monster tank. $,1,156.50 difference in price, including the $152.00 we ate returning the 2.5" metal.

Is that not the best price you found and i know some other MFG will only use 1/2 acrylic for some of them. but if you use this link the ebay the one is just say $4000 to make this ez. and the youtube video from
Flip Aquatics will give you %10 off thats around 3600. if you ask me thats a great price. also if you want a stand or lids. i put a hole so i can do water changes and holes in the top of the tank for the wires and air hoses if i run them.

i love how the tops look because they are recessed and sit flat. i went with all that except the sump. after making one i dont think i could ever pay for someone to make it for me. i want to used a 120 gallon 48 x 24 x 24 tank for my next sump. i keep looking but can find a used one that someone dont want crazy money for. i can buy a 125 with the stand and the kit with the lights from petsmart for $425 brand new.
My tank is 96 x 48 x 24 so I figured I would have enough room in front of it because it’s only 18 inches wide. That leaves me about 30 inches in front of the tank and that is more room then some people have for their whole stand. Just about everything goes inside the sump so I don’t need that much storage area underneath the tank I’m sure I’ll have Enough. It’s just hard finding someone that will just sell the tank everybody wants to sell it as a set and think it’s Worth ridiculous money I was looking on some fishtanks on craigslist and it would be cheaper for me to buy everything they had and new then what they wanted for it lol
