try aquascapeonline.com lots of variety there are piranhas (rhombeus) that are a 1 tank fish get about 18" (takes a long time) and are black just like black pacus

i think id be more interested in keeping a shoal than a single fish :( sorry. but i am definitely going to check out that site. since my lfs does not carry a big variety of them id prolly have to order them online.

yeah either way aquascape has a lot of species i always have to order here in utah

yeah im lookin at the site now and they have like 30 different varieties of piranhas and in different sizes for ordering. so you guys would suggest a standard red belly to start? (or natt's as i just learned). (and a dozen of them would work for 125 gallons?).

yeah, i'd stick with natts, you could get a bunch and thin the shoal out as they grow, but 12 would be a good number to end up with down the road

ok. does feeding them cost alot? or is it possible to feed them cichlid sticks or something of that nature? cuz i think that constantly having to go buy rosy reds would start to generate quite a bill and more work than i would like it to be.

i know they will blood worms maybe silver sides? you breed you own mollies or the like

what else would i feed them if i was breeding mollies to feed them? what about platy's? they breed pretty fast. cuz ive seen mollies eat their own young. swordtails? would i have to separate parents from fry in those situations?

p.s. i would really prefer it if i could train them to eat cichlid sticks or hikari pellets or something, although i am not opposed to breeding and feeding.

try it i cant imagine its unhealthy for them as far as fish anything except gold fish mouth breeders are more nurtitious
