pairing big angels ?!!

cool then i ll get wide pieces place 1 or 2 in the breeding tank .. and i ll place the small plastic plants in the angel big tank in front and i ll get amazon plants in the back of tank .. and i ll place 2 small amazon in the breeding tank or may be 1 big ...

but i don't know why all the angels are in one place all over each other .. ?? in the main tank

They sound like they are nervous. Have you been busy in the tank?

I was looking at the pics of your main angel tank again. You might want to try add places of refuge for them so they feel more secure.

no i do not do any thing in tank except if i am changing water or when i put any thing like the drift wood or so so i do not interrupt the tank alot ..

i was thinking to put these small plants for now .. as some hiding places until i get the amazon ..

what do u think ?

remenber to only use aged cured drift wood.. or you will change the chemistry and upset their breeding etc...

yeah i ll make sure of that cus if i ll change the ph or chemistry of water that ll be so bad for breeding and for the offspring on the long run ..

i got an idea while ago ..

the angels i got is a tank raised locally and i do not think that the breeder was having a draft wood for all of that production so they already raised on normal ph water ( tap water ) which is here 7.5 ... so if i put draft wood in the water i ll change the whole ph the fish used to already lived in for nearly 8 month now ....

i heard just now from a local angel breeder that angel fish do not like heavy light - daily water change - strong airstone ..

is that is true ??

cus i do daily water change .. + high florescent light + 2 airstones one in a sponge filter and one free ... and it has high pressure as it is from a big air compressor ... ( Boyu _ ACQ-007 )

yes i can control the air pressure ... even i can let it be just one air stone ( which is in the sponge filter .. ) and the light i made the lamp face upward .. so the light is minimum now , what about the daily water change ???

i forgot what you consider daily..but i would keep up water changes as in my mind ... water changes is # one in keeping healthy fish.. but i quess it depends on what you have to do to the water..and your water in general.. maybe lupin can answer that better...

Daily water changes are fine as long as the water is treated and has the same parameters as the water in the tank, otherwise the chemsirty chages everyday with the water change.
