They also don't have problems selling you lots of fish the same day you're buying a fish tank.
Petco has a 15 day return policy on all fish except salt. They also take fish back on occasion if it is a little past the 15 days but do store credit. And they will also let you relinquish your unwanted fish and put them up for adoption. All proceeds going to the Petco foundation benefiting local rescues and no kill shelters. As for the sending fish home with a new setup, thats just a bad employee. As the aquatics specialist at a Petco I would never send a fish home with a new setup. If they are insistant on it I give them a couple at most but nullify the guarantee. Which brings me to that koi. That lady was dumb. Don't sign crap like that without talking to a manager first if you KNOW you are right. That lady would get a harsh talking to (from me and a manager) and would probably get stuck on register for the day. If ever you are in a situation like that, talk to a manager or call a corporate office. More than likely your problem will get solved AND you have the satisfaction of knowing that you helped someone else avoid the same bull crap.
whos next?
