Looking good!
Awesome idea with the magnets.
I'm going to use your idea on my 120's iron stand.

What happens if the pre filter in the bio ball chamber gets plugged up? Won't the water spill over? If you don't already have one you may want to think about adding a safety bypass pipe above the pre filter draining into the sump.

Genius! I never thought of that, and it's so simple! I'm going to put a 1" PVC pipe in one of the corners. Maybe one in each corner and have them about 1 " above the filter area! Damn that is such a great idea! Thanks man.

Dam! you guys are so lucky that the wifey let you have all the fish tanks. I had to do some deals with the wifey just to pull off a 125. Anyways looks good! I wish I could have a huge tank =(

nice tank, is that one of those expensive back to nature backgrounds?

Yes, but it's two of them.
The tank is 44" deep and the backgrounds are about 22" so I had to cut and fit everything. Not sure how it's all going to work out? So far it looks real good but it's a PITA getting in and out of that damn tank! I hate deep tanks, well I hate working on deep tanks lol

Good luck on the background, I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out. I agree working inside a tall tank sucks, I'm sure that fan is as much there to help the fumes as it is to keep it cooler when working in the tank!
