...That's a snowflake moray. The eel he has IS commonly called "snowflake eel". In fact, I have never seen it sold as anything else. Try googling it. The genus is gymnothorax.

NO, fish do not stop growing, and i bet your brain aint grown too... The outside physical of the fish will stop growing due to confined space but its internal organs are going to grow until it eventually gets too big and thus killing your fish= ANIMAL ABUSE

BenSow - As was said earlier in this thread: chill. The OP does need to stop adding fish to the tank and be responsible in finding good homes for the fish he already has. This has been said before in a much more mature, much better way than you've ever aspired to.

He's also been told why what he has now is unhealthy for his fish. That doesn't change the fact that he's in the situation he's in now. It's up to him to re-home them properly. What do you want him to do? Have a fish fry and invite the neighbors? No, you want him to responsibly sell/give his fish to a local lfs, or post in craigslist and find a good home for them. THAT TAKES TIME! For now, he's doing the best he can, providing a cleaner home for them than the pics in your tank setup and trying to keep them as healthy as he can in the confined space he has. Yes, keeping them there will kill them, or cause them many, many medical problems regardless of how clean he keeps it, but being irresponsible at this point and simply dumping them into a canal or something would be far, far worse...for both his fish and the rest of the ecosystem.

screaming at him isn't going to help. Education, answers, and advice will. It's obvious he cares for his fish; it's now a matter of showing him that the best way he can care for them is to find them a new home, then re-stocking his tank with fish that can live there happily and healthily for life.

Chill down bro I'm only 14 I thought I was doing pretty good for my first tank everyone else is trying to help me. And that's not my catfish is a redtail/shovel nose cross and I just got the gar pacu and cat. I know I have to get rid of them my friends got a 250

Hey snook, swearing makes you look like a temperamental twit. You came on here bragging about how awesome your tank is. And it looks to me like you are still mighty proud of it. This is NOTHING to be proud of. What you have is flat out shameful. I would be beyond embarrassed to admit I have a tank like yours.

Gervahlt, the OP has in no way indicated that he realizes he has made some seriously gross errors. He has not indicated that he plans to rehome them, and he has not indicated that he understands that what he is doing is morally and ethically wrong. It is animal abuse. Its that easy. You can sugar coat it all you want. This OP is bragging about animal abuse.

When he shows some remorse and and intent to correct the problem... then Ben will have over stepped his bounds. Until then, Ben is right.

To the OP: if this is your tank and you stocked it that way...shame on you for not researching the needs of your pets. Your tank was horrifically over stocked and you added more fish to it!!!! Ohh my.

Fix your tank, stop swearing at us and take responsibility for your self.

Please consider upgrading ASAP - it would make your fish live longer and much more happier.
