Yeah bought 4 kilos of hikari wafers. Im gonna mix up its diet. 5 days wafers 2 days protein.

Leave out the protein
The wafer provide more than enough protein the FRT needs

Oh ok no worries.

Its just that i read somewhere that for youngsters keep them on a high protein and when they gradually grow older start adjusting the food to veges. But if wafers are enough than ill stick to that. I had them on protein and fresh peeled prawns. I chucked in some cut up banana, green beans and small cut up carrots but they dont seem to touch it.

should be the other way round. older can have a slightly higher protein diet. young FRT is prone to upturn shell with high protein diet.

Anyways just gave it second shot of Fortum in between its tail and leg. I think the lump seem to be getting smaller. Should take 3 to 6 weeks for it to fully heal so thats what i was told by the vet.
