Project Suvattii

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Aquarium coop also sells prefilter sponges about $4. It's what I use.
I watched the video Cory posted about doing them and there was all this modding by having to add tubing to the intakes of the AC110 to make it so the sponges would not fall off. Do you know which one you are using? Would love to just pop the sponge over the AC110 intake tube and be done. Not that I dont like the ATI set up but simpler would be even nicer.

I should just drive up to the Co-Op one of these days. Its been a while since Ive been there. Its about an hour and a half drive from me. I usually stop in once a year or so during a little weekend drive.

I used the medium prefilter sponges, but I have the ac70s I think tube size is the same....not entirely sure. They fit very nice. No mods on mine at all.

Today was the big move. Arrowhead is in his new 30 gallon permanent home.

His old tank was way overkill. A 65B, filtered by an AC110, 300watt Fluval E Series heater and Current USA satellite plus light.

The new tank, a 36”, 30 gallon with an AC110, 200 watt Catalina heater, Beamswork EA fixture
