Okay, I can't just leave it at that...
Fable3 is a pretty good game..but Halo Reach is a PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A GAME unless you are into the online gaming, that's all it was made for. I appreciate a game with a good storyline...old skool, crappy graphics-time/turn based gameplay are worth it for GREAT story line (i.e. Final Fantasy)

Anyway, Fable3 really tore my heart out at the end, I even cried a little...
Halo Reach, made me want to set my xbox on fire and never look back, very disappointing.

Bottom line, most games are on both systems and PS3 is the superior piece of hardware
You can watch blueray (yes, it DOES make a difference between regular and blueray) without having to buy an accessory (xbox360, you have to BUY accessory to play HD DVDs)
And...FREE ONLINE PLAY, so even if you decide you DON'T want to pay for something the component SHOULD DO, you can still update your software without being extorted, which to me...is priceless (it's the principal of the matter!)

Reach is awesome. Story was fairly meh....but the online is great.

You do realize HD DVDs are dead right? It's an inferior format, and no one besides Microsoft would be dumb enough to back it. Blu-ray is the next generation movie watching format period.
HD DVDs are this generation's Betamax.

This is what you do, you get an xbox for xmas and with your left over money from your family you get a 1 year Gold membership. You just keep repeating that every xmas, so its basically free online haha

GPU and CPU Comparison
GPU, i.e. the graphics processing unit, and CPU, i.e. the central processing unit, are important components of the video game console. The Xenos GPU in Xbox 360 does have an edge over the RSX GPU in PS3, but then the Cell engine (microprocessor chip) in PS3, which is more powerful than the triple-core Xenon CPU in Xbox 360, comes to the rescue of PS3 by handling the workload at any given point of time

YLOD isnt possible on PS3's anymore since its built into the software to shutdown before overheating. Not sure if XBox has implemented any of this software yet.

From what I've heard, one can't really notice the difference between 720p and 1080p unless they are playing on a massive HDTV
