Raccoons as pets ??

Raccoons are fun pets but they may randomly attack as adults when spooked, be sure to give them a little kiddy pool and place stuff like oysters,clams,shrimp and crayfish in it to keep them occupied . They live on average 5to7 yrs in captivity and about 2 to 4 in wild

Great idea about the kiddy pool butbut I thought they have a lifespan of 20 years in captivity from what I have read

I have yet to see a coon reach 20 oldest I know of reached 13

I can't talk from personal experience I don't know anyone else with a raccoon just can go by what I'm reading

Yeah I just want u to be prepared but they aren't real difficult to care for and should be a enjoyable pet
