Was doing water changes and decided to remove the female to her own tank and put all the males back together. This will allow me to heal the female and get some size on her and maybe try to breed her again in the future.

This male was the one who had tried to mate with the female. I really like the elongated look. (Keeper)

The largest dominate male in a 90 to himself. He has a big bulky build. (Keeper)

I really like the male with the bulky head, his profile is nice along with his fins

Not to be controversial... lol. I know there has been discussion on mixing catch locations when breeding but in this case "IF" I end up getting the female large enough to breed with his male it would be a F1 female Rio Niltepec with an F1 Male (Rapps) Rio Naranjo.

Let the debates begin, lol. NO dont debate this! Will see what happens in the future but it just being talked about at the moment. The mix of catch locations do not bother me. These will still make true trimac babies if we breed them.

The largest one sat still a minute for a pic. This guy is a 'mini-me' of an adult. Just has that big bulky build, just a scaled down size of an adult. The juvenile stage seems to went fast but its still only about 5". Its a shame it really has no interesting pattern or color... (yet?)
